How to Update Zoom

NOTICE: All Zoom users should update to version 5.0 as soon as possible. Starting on May 30th, any Zoom applications that have not been updated to 5.0 will be unable to join new meetings until the update has been installed. 

The following guide provides the steps to update Zoom on both a Mac and Windows computer along with mobile devices.

Mac Update Steps:

1. Open Up Zoom on your Mac computer

2. Click up at the top right where it states:   zoom.us

3. Click on Check for updates

4. If any updates are needed, a pop up will ask it update or, if already on the most recent version, will state no new updates are available.

Windows Update Steps:

1. Open Up Zoom on the Windows computer

2. Click on the Initials Icon in the top right corner.

3. Click on the Check for Updates option.

4. If the application requires an update it will run but if no updates are needed a prompt will pop up stating its up to date.
