- This guide will walk you through creating a Google account using your existing work email.
- In a web browser navigate to https://accounts.google.com
- If you are currently signed into a Google account with your personal email address you will need to sign out to continue this setup.
- When you see the “Choose an account” page, click on use another account.
- The next page will ask you to enter your email, on this page click “create account” instead of entering your email here and select “For myself.”
- On the next page you will enter your name and click “Use my current email address instead.” Once you have entered your work email address you will create your password and confirm it. Note: this password is not connected to your npgco.com account in any way and there cannot be reset using the internal password reset tool, store it securely.
- Once you have entered your work email address and created your password click the blue “Next” button. This will send an automated confirmation email to your npgco.com email address with a verification code for you to enter on the next page. Enter the verification code and click the blue “Next” button
- On the next page you will enter your personal information to complete the account creation.
- Click the blue “Next” button and agree to the Privacy and terms. This completes the creation of your Google account. You can now use it to sign into Google Chrome and Google Analytics.
- To sign into Google Analytics, navigate to https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/?authuser=1#/p153497584/reports/reportinghub
- Here you will enter your work email address and the password you created to access the analytics page for your station.
