Manually Check for Updates in Windows 10

Follow this guide to manually check for updates in Windows 10

1. Click the Start Button and click on the settings gear to open the Windows Settings menu.

2. Once the Windows Settings menu is opened click on Update & Security.

3. On this Windows Update screen click on Check for Updates.

4. Once updates are found click install. After updates are installed you will be prompted to restart your computer. Please do that at your earliest convenience. 

5. If no updates are found using the Check for updates option please click the "Check online for updates from Microsoft Update" option and follow option 4 if updates are found. 

6. If no updates are found using either option then your computer is completely up-to-date!
