Allow Logmein Remote Session - Mac

Allow IT Tech to start a remote session on your Mac

1. You will receive a URL in your ticket. Click on the URL provided in your email. The following screen may open. On that screen click, I understand and wish to follow the link.

2. The download of the remote application will begin. Click and open the .zip file once it is done downloading.

3. The download will now pull up your downloads folder. However, if it doesn't you will now go to your downloads folder and open the following highlighted item.

3.1 You may get the following alert. Click on Open.

3.2 This will now at this point alert the IT Tech that you are waiting for their response.

4. Once the IT Tech tries to open the remote session you will be alerted. Please click Ok to the following alert.

4.1 If this is the first time you have opened a session you may get the following alert. Click Ok.

4.2 You will then receive the following alert. Click on Open System Preferences

5. The Security and Privacy screen will open up. You need to click the lock in the bottom left of the screen and put in your Mac password.

5.1 On this screen you need to place a check mark by Support-LogMeInRescue and then click the lock again. The IT Tech will now be able to control your screen and assist you.
