Managing Voice Mail

Login to your voice mail by pressing the Messages button on your phone.  If prompted for a password, enter it from the phone.  If you do not know your password, it may be the default of (1111).  Please change your password if it is the default.  If you have changed your password from the default, and don't remember it, submit an incident and we can reset it for you.

The following shows the list of available options for your voicemail.

Voicemail Options:

1 - Listen to message/s

  5. Save Message

0 - Mailbox Options(Setup greetings)

  1. Record unavailable greeting – This should be set to personalize your greeting when you don’t answer. 
  2. Record Busy greeting – This should be set to personalize your greeting when you are on the phone.
  3. Record Name – This should be set so your name is audibly spoken when someone looks you up in the 411 directory.  If this is not set the phone system will spell your name by letter or use the auto voice to say your name.
  4. Record Temp greeting - If you plan on being gone for a day or more, or just need a temporary message, this is the place.  As long as there is a message here, it will be the default.  You will be prompted any time that you enter mailbox options if you have a temporary greeting.
  5. Change voicemail password - It is highly recommended that you change your voicemail password from the default.

Remote Voicemail Management

You can remotely dial into your voicemail to the provided external number.  You will be prompted for your mailbox (your extension) and your voicemail password.  (Note: if you don't know what your voicemail password is, you can simply change it by following the steps listed above, or if unable to do so, you can contact the local service desk or put a ticket in for help.

These are the configured local numbers to external voicemail.  You should use the number from your location to get to your voicemail box:
